Leather restoration & care
Good leather is worth keeping. Jackets, bags, belts, wallets, satchels — if it is leather and it can be saved, bring it to me. Everything is cleaned, fed and repaired by hand, one piece at a time. Boots and shoes are welcome for cleaning, polishing and reconditioning only; structural shoe repair belongs with a cobbler.
Labour is charged at $65 per hour, and kept deliberately below the usual trade rate so ordinary people can afford to keep good leather alive.
Minimum charge is one hour. Materials, dyes and replacement hardware are quoted at cost on top, and you approve the total before any work starts.

Clean & condition — jacket
from $902–3 hours of labour
Surface clean, deep-feed conditioning and buff. Lifts grime, softens dried leather and evens out the finish.
Clean & condition — bag, wallet or small accessory
from $451–1.5 hours of labour
Interior vacuum and wipe-out, exterior clean, edge tidy and conditioning. Hardware polished.
Clean, polish & recondition — boots and shoes
from $351 hour of labour
Strip old wax, clean, cream feed, wax polish and buff to the shine you want. Footwear is care only — no resoling, restitching or structural shoe repair.
Colour restoration & scuff repair
from $1503–5 hours of labour
Re-pigmenting faded panels, blending scuffs and sealing. Priced per panel after assessment.
Stitching, seams and lining repair
from $501–4 hours of labour
Re-stitching split seams, replacing torn lining, reinforcing stress points and strap repairs.
Hardware replacement
from $45 + parts1–2 hours of labour
Zips, sliders, studs, buckles, clasps and feet. Parts quoted at cost before I start.
Prices are estimates based on hours. Heavily damaged, vintage or specialty leathers (suede, nubuck, exotics) are quoted individually.
Book a job online
Pay a small booking deposit to lock in your spot. I assess the piece, quote the balance at $65 per hour, and your deposit comes off the final price. If I can’t help, the deposit is refunded in full.

Local to Lismore NSW? Drop the piece off, or message me after booking and we can sort out a pick-up. Anywhere else in Australia, post it to me — I’ll send you the postal address once we’ve agreed the quote, and it comes back to you tracked with postage quoted at cost.
How it works

Turnaround
Most cleaning and polishing jobs are finished within 5–7 days of arriving. Colour restoration and structural repairs take 2–3 weeks because each coat and glue line has to cure properly.
What I will not risk
If a piece is too fragile to survive the process, I will tell you honestly rather than take your money. Water-damaged, mould-affected and salt-stained leather can often be rescued — but not always, and you will know that before anything is committed.
